Mowbray Lodge tries a Lodge of Instruction with a difference

A new year and a new way to enjoy our Lodge of Instruction

Mowbray Lodge of Instruction meets on the fourth Thursday of the month before a regular meeting (September/October/November/January/February/March and April). On this occasion we tried something different. A true Lodge of instruction that explained the reasons for our actions in the third degree, involved all the members in attendance and, by limiting the LOI to an hour and quarter it made us focus on the reasons why we were there for the evening. We then took the opportunity to retire to the Yuvraj restaurant for a light curry and a few drinks where we continued our discussion about Masonry before we all went home. Everyone agreed that the social element was important and that we should use it to introduce prospective candidates to the members. We plan to do this at future meetings.
